Programme Overview -SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme−Company Training (SGUP−CT)

SAP has launched the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme−Company Training (SGUP−CT) for 370 trainees in Singapore.

This five-month programme is targeted at upskilling mid-career jobseekers to boost their employability in info-communications technology, supply chain and HR. Each participant will receive a monthly training allowance of SGD 1,500* and course fee funding from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

SAP will deliver four months of the training, followed by one month of SAP case studies to provide hands-on experience on SAP projects.

This programme underscores SAP's commitment to social investment strategies based on our vision to help the world run better and improve people's lives.

The overall programme is planned to be run for 5 months. The application period cut-off date for the third batch is 14-Jan-2022, subject to the minimum number of trainees registered to attend classes.

SAP S/4HANA – Sales with exposure to Supply Chain Logistics and Extended Warehouse Management

Learn to implement and customise features of SAP S/4HANA Sales, along with a focus on supply chain execution.

Prerequisites:

Basic business knowledge of processes in Sales or Supply Chain such as sales document, outbound deliveries and shipping goods. A degree or diploma in Sales & Procurement or an IT-related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

SAP S/4HANA Production Planning

Learn to implement and customise features in SAP ERP Manufacturing.

Prerequisites:

Basic business knowledge of processes in manufacturing such as production planning and execution. A degree or diploma in Manufacturing Process or an IT-related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central & Recruitment

Learn to configure and implement the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting modules.

Prerequisites:

Basic business knowledge of processes in Human Resource Management. A degree or diploma in HR or an IT-related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement and Ariba

Learn to implement and customise features of SAP S/4HANA Procurement.

Prerequisites:

Knowledge about business processes in Sourcing and Procurement​. A degree or diploma in Sales & Procurement or an IT-related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

All course modules must be completed in the order outlined by SAP under the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme – Company Training (SGUP-CT) that the participant is enrolled. A participant cannot move to the next course module until they have completed the previous course module. There is no exception granted.

There are terms and conditions that apply. But the individual can submit a request for refund. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Individuals can cancel their registration 14 days before commencement of the course. There will be a full refund of the fee, excluding the administration fee of SGD 50.00 or 10% of the fee charged, whichever is higher.

If an individual withdraws his/her registration within 14 days preceding the commencement of the course, 50% of the fee charged will be forfeited.

If an individual withdraws his/her registration after the commencement of the course, there will be no refund.

Fees and Payment details

Every successful participant will have to pay only SGD 427.57 (inclusive of GST).

For self-paying individuals, you can utilise your SkillsFuture Credits to pay the course fee. For more information on how to use your SkillsFuture Credit, please visit the website

Please note that you are only required to transfer your credits upon receipt of successful course registration email. In the confirmation email, you will be provided a document to upload into the SkillsFuture Credit portal.

Payment can be made via AXS stations/AXS mobile/ AXS online.

Training location and duration of the classroom training

For modules with delivery method “Live Class”, this refers to live instructor-led classes.

  1. These classes will be conducted either at an SAP authorised training centre as a “Physical Class” or through Zoom as a “Virtual Class”.
  2. Trainees will receive the training location details from SAP within 7 days of the commencement of the programme.

The duration of the SAP classroom training is 4 hours per session. Each batch is split into 2 sessions.

Day 1 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Subsequent days 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Note: Applicants as well as registered participants of the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme−Company Training (SGUP−CT) can be employed part-time, as long as it does not affect their programme attendance.

Certification Exam Details

Participants should take the exam on the scheduled date of their chosen training delivery track. Securing an SAP Professional Certification enhances the participant’s credibility among job seekers, due to its global acceptance as an IT standard.

No. Participants will have to sit for an exam for certification.

On successful completion of the certification, you will receive an email from Acclaim with details on how to retrieve your Digital Badge. 

You will be able to download your Digital Badge within 3-4 days of passing the exam.

If you have not heard from the SAP Global Certification team within 14 days of passing your exam, please write to SAPSGUnitedTraining@sap.com

If a participant fails in first attempt, the participant can retake the exam by using the two online exam attempts for SAP Certification exams granted as one of the programme benefits. SAP Certification online exams are remotely proctored and delivered via a webcam on individuals’ PC or laptop, and you can schedule the exam appointment 24/7 via SAP Certification Hub.

Note: As per SAP Certification policy, individuals can take each exam up to a maximum of three attempts.

SAP will assist to book the exam for individuals based on the planned schedules. Exam will be held at SAP authorised training locations only, and individuals are to appear in person at the exam centre.

SAP certificates are no longer provided as hardcopies.  SAP certificates are now available as Badges in the form of links which can be shared with prospective employers, social media accounts, etc.

Course material and e-learning

As part of the classroom training, you will be given a participant’s handbook at no cost to you. There will be no extra costs.

You can access the subscription of SAP Learning Hub for a period of 12 months.

SAP training system access is only available during the classroom training period of each module.
